Established September 1965, PYO is a nonprofit, nonsectarian, 501 (c) (3), youth sports organization.  PYO provides a year-round positive environment for children ages 3 through 18.  Our organized adult-supervised youth sports programs emphasize fundamental skills, team concept, individual responsibility, commitment, and civic consciousness.

Established in 1965... this is our 43rd year of service to the community!

Parkwood Youth Organization  is located in the Far-Northeast section of Philadelphia, minutes from the PA Turnpike, Interstate 95, and U.S. Route 1

FROM PA TURNPIKE OR VIA ROOSEVELT BLVD. (RT1) FROM POINTS NORTH OF THE TURNPIKE - Exit PA Turnpike at Exit 351 (Old Exit 28) Philadelphia. > Through the toll booth take Roosevelt Blvd. US Route 1 South. > Immediately look for the Street Road Rt132 East exit. > Take Street Road Rt. 132 East past Philadelphia Park to the next light at Mechanicsville Road. > Turn RIGHT onto Mechanicsville.> Follow Mechanicsville down the hill to the "T" at the Stop sign. > At the Stop sign "T" turn RIGHT onto Dunksferry Road. > PYO is on the right hand side, just around the bend, approximately 100 yards.

FROM POINTS SOUTH OF SOUTHAMPTON ROAD TAKING ROOSEVELT BLVD. NORTH - Follow Roosevelt Blvd (Rt.1) NORTH to Southampton Road (the PA National Guard Armory is on the Southeast corner) and make a RIGHT > Southampton Rd turns into Byberry Road.  Continue straight on Byberry Rd. approximately 1 mile to Dunksferry Road (4th traffic light). Turn LEFT onto Dunks Ferry. > P.Y.O. is 7/10 mile on the left at Mechanicsville Rd.

I-95 FROM POINTS SOUTH OF RT. 63 WOODHAVEN ROAD - Exit at Woodhaven Road (Rt.63 west) and follow Woodhaven Road to the Thorton Road Exit. > From the light at the base of the Thorton Exit turn RIGHT onto Thorton Road. > Take Thorton until it "T's" off on Byberry Road.  > Turn Right onto Byberry Rd. > Travel Byberry to the next light, Dunksferry Road. > Turn LEFT onto Dunks Ferry. > P.Y.O. is 7/10 mile on the left at Mechanicsville Rd.

I-95 FROM POINTS NORTH OF STREET ROAD RT. 132 - Exit I-95 South at Street Road Rt 132. > From the Stop sign at the top of the ramp turn RIGHT onto Street Road RT. 132 West. > Take Street Road 132 West to the light at Mechanicsville Road. > Turn LEFT onto Mechanicsville.> Follow Mechanicsville down the hill to the "T" at the Stop sign. > At the "T" turn RIGHT onto Dunksferry Road. > PYO is on the right hand side, just around the bend, approximately 100 yards.
